Collected locally from Jurassic Oxford Clay beds, Peterborough Museum has marine reptile fossils that are of international importance and include unique specimens of Crocodiles, Ichthyosaurs, Pliosaurs and Plesiosaurs. The fossil fish collection also contains the most complete specimen of the largest fish that ever lived – Leedsichthys – and many other examples of fossil fish from the Jurassic seas.
