The museum has a large collection of local photographic prints and glass plate negatives documenting how the city and surrounding area of Peterborough has changed from Victorian times to the landscape we know today.
The Peterborough Development Corporation collection of photographs and negatives relating to the development of Peterborough New Town in the 10970s and 1980s is currently deposited with the Peterborough Archives Service.
